On May 12, 2024, our group participated in “WFP Walk the World 2024 Yokohama,” a charity event organized by the United Nations World Food Programme (Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture), held in Minato Mirai, Yokohama.
The event, attended by 4,732 people, aims to end hunger among children in developing countries, and a portion of the participation fee is donated to the United Nations World Food Programme’s “School Meals Support” program. This year’s Yokohama event, the 17th of its kind, raised 4,488,800 yen, which will be used to deliver school lunches to 149,626 children.
