Environmental Policy
SANKYO SEIKO GROUP, operating globally, considers it a corporate responsibility to protect the Earth’s environment. With the aim of coexistence and prosperity with society, and for the sake of future generations, we actively engage in conserving the Earth’s environment.
We strive to conserve the Earth’s environment in various business activities . Specifically:
- We work towards reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and electricity consumption to mitigate climate change.
- We endeavor to reduce waste and promote recycling to achieve a circular economy.
- We strive to develop environmentally friendly products and procure materials with low environmental impact.
- We regularly disclose information about our environmental policies and conservation efforts through various reports and our website.
Through these actions, we are committed to fulfilling our role in preserving the Earth’s environment while promoting sustainable business practices for the benefit of present and future generations.
Environmental Promotion Structure
We have established the “SDGs Committee,” chaired by CEO, and comprised of members of the management meeting. This committee convenes four times a year to execute and promote SDGs activities. Regarding environmental matters, the committee conducts activities such as identifying risks, reporting on environmental conservation efforts, and sharing information. Additionally, as necessary, CEO will report to the Board of Directors.
