In areas of northern Nepal that suffered extensive damage from floods and landslides, communities remain isolated due to damaged roads, destroyed infrastructure, and rugged terrain. As a result of this disaster, local communities have been forced to evacuate, their livelihoods have been destroyed, and access to essential services has been cut off.

The Sankyo Seiko Foundation (formerly the Sunrise Foundation), a general incorporated foundation established by our company in 2022, has donated 3,000,000 yen through the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) to provide emergency food assistance to those affected by the large-scale floods and mudslides in northern Nepal.
