Sankyo Seiko has revised upward its consolidated numerical targets for its medium-term management plan. Ordinary profit of 2.5 billion yen, which was initially targeted, was raised to 3.0 billion yen, exceeding the previous fiscal year (2.912 billion yen). Brand businesses such as “DAKS” and “Léonard” acquired are doing well. The ratio of overseas operating income is expected to exceed 60% this fiscal year. Going forward, “growth will be overseas” (President Akira Inoue), and both brands will promote the luxury route.
