DAKS and LEONARD new concept store in Hong Kong

Sankyo Seiko (Asia Pacific) Co., Ltd. recently opened new concept stores for DAKS and LEONARD next to each other in Harbor City, one of the largest shopping malls in Hong Kong.

Harbor City is a leading complex in Hong Kong that includes a hotel and an office building, with over 500 stores and more than 50 restaurants.

The DAKS store is 78 square meters. In addition to men’s and women’s wear, the store offers a wide range of accessories and small goods. The facade of the store features a 3D rendering of the brand’s iconic house check modern pattern. The floor in the center of the store is decorated with a traditional house check pattern, creating a space that combines modern and classic styles.

The LEONARD store is 50 square meters and was designed around a large circular light. In addition to the glamorous “LEONARD PARIS” wear, a walnut table was placed in the center of the store to showcase bags, hats, scarves, and other accessories and small goods.

In addition to its domestic operations, the Sankyo Seiko Group is expanding its overseas business. From April to June this year, overseas sales of the fashion-related business, centered on DAKS and LEONARD, totaled 1.3 billion yen, up 92% from the same period last year. Operating income increased 57% to 300 million yen. Hong Kong is performing particularly well, with over-the-counter sales growing due to the resumption of traffic to and from China.

The company aims to improve the image of DAKS and LEONARD and further increase sales by opening a new concept store in the same zone as European and US luxury brands in Harbor City.
