As part of its ongoing global collaboration with world-renowned artist Mr. Slowboy, British Royal Warrant holder DAKS is pleased to present the first-ever original artwork exhibition of Mr. Slowboy in Japan. The exhibition, titled “Suitcase & Showcase – The Original Artwork of Mr. Slowboy, Unpacked,” is being held for a limited time at Vulcanize London Aoyama from Saturday, June 14 to Sunday, July 6, 2025.

To mark the opening, a reception party was held on Friday, June 13, where guests enjoyed an exclusive evening featuring a special talk session between Mr. Slowboy and acclaimed Japanese actor Ken Mitsuishi.

The two discussed their personal travel stories and creative inspirations, linking to the central theme of the exhibition, “Suitcase & Showcase.” Their insightful conversation offered guests a unique look into the journey behind the artist’s work and the spirit of travel that shapes it.

The event also featured a live sketch demonstration by Mr. Slowboy, during which he illustrated Mr. Mitsuishi on the spot. The audience watched as his warm and whimsical style brought the portrait to life—an intimate and memorable moment for all in attendance.
