DAKS opens its first shop in Central Hong Kong!　-ifc POP UP SHOP open-

DAKS, a British royal brand established in 1894, opened its first POP UP SHOP at the ifc mall in Central Hong Kong on 24 December 2022.

Located in Central’s financial district, ifc mall is part of a complex that includes two office towers, luxury suite flats and a five-star hotel, and is conveniently linked directly to Hong Kong Station. It is one of the most luxurious shopping malls in Hong Kong, with over 200 stores, including many well-known high-end brands. DAKS also has a shop on a floor lined with high-brand shops.

The 67 sq m DAKS shop houses a range of men’s and women’s clothing and accessories, many featuring DAKS’ iconic house checks and teddy bear motifs. The façade displays successive generations of DAKS teddy bears and a big teddy bear dressed as Sherlock.

Hong Kong Central is adjacent to an upmarket residential area (mid-level), and the shop, which has now opened for a limited time, is targeted at the affluent class; it is directly above the ifc mall Hong Kong station for convenient public transport access and, from 8 January, for the first time since the Corona disaster, the border between Hong Kong and Mainland China was opened, allowing free travel without quarantine.
