ーNew sub-licence agreement for apronsー
Our Company has signed a licence agreement with Naigai Corporation, which manufactures and sells textile products centred on legwear, for a new item, the DAKS apron, and will start offering the product in major department stores nationwide from late February and in the official DAKS online shop from mid-March.
■DAKS Check
Two styles, a sarong type and a back-tie type, are available in the house check and seasonal check that symbolise the DAKS brand. The fabric is dyed and processed from the yarn in Nishiwaki City, Hyogo Prefecture, one of Japan’s leading textile production centres, with attention paid to every detail, including the texture. The material is wrinkle-resistant and its supple tension gives it a luxurious feel. The bias pockets are accented.

■Floral DD print
Original floral all-over print apron with the brand logo “DD”, gathered at the chest, waist and pockets for a cute look. Two styles are available: a free cloth type that you just put on and a basic type that ties at the back, in three spring-like colours. The fabric has a wrinkle-resistant, form-stabilising finish and is easy to wash and care for, making it perfect for everyday use.

A clean apron with a watercolour-style house check print and plain colour, created in collaboration between DAKS and illustrator Yoco Nagamiya. The apron is made of a wrinkle-resistant, dry material, and the back-tied type with crossed shoulder straps has a stylish asymmetrical hem design. The tunic type has elastic on both sides and fits the body well. 3-colour range.

＜Bear Illustration＞
The “Watercolour style bear print for enjoying breakfast” design, created in collaboration with illustrator Yoco Nagamiya, is based on this season’s British food theme. Made of cotton, available in two styles: a front-tie sarong type and a neck-hanging front-tie type. Twill tape is used on the back of the ties for strength and design. The pockets and hems are accented with W-stitching for a denim-like finish. Both have a long length, and the slit in the central hem is one of the fashionable points without interfering with leg movement.
