DAKS to start rolling out bedding from mid-August!

Sankyo Seiko Co., Ltd.

―Signed a new bedding sublicense agreement―

We have concluded a license agreement with Otsu Corporation, which manufactures and sells bedding, for new items and DAKS bedding, and will begin rolling out products at major department stores nationwide sequentially from mid-August.

■DAKS House Check
A reversible cotton blanket woven with the brand’s iconic house check gauze on one side and plain seal weaving on the other side. It is woven at the foot of Mt. Koya, which is known as the production area of seal weaving, at Koyaguchi.
Unlike general manufacturing methods, seal weaving uses a special technique in which the pile yarn is not brushed and the hair stands by manually removing the thread, so it has a unique soft texture and is pleasant to the touch, and is characterized by being less prone to hair loss and pilling. It also has excellent moisture absorption and heat retention, and can be used throughout the year.

Seal weaving / gauze Reversible cotton blanket (pile yarn: 100% cotton) Ground yarn: Vertical yarn polyester 65% Rayon 35% Weft yarn cotton 100% Gauze: 100% cotton) ¥ 11,000 (tax included) 【Made in Japan】

■DAKS×YOCO
This season’s limited collaboration item using watercolor check and bear illustrations drawn by illustrator YOCO NAGAMIYA.
The acrylic Meyer half blanket has a gentle melty touch using ultra-fine fiber “Toyobo’s Pre-Reel R”. It is a size that can be easily used not only as bedding, but also as a shoulder rest or throw.
The cushion cover is 100% cotton, so it can be washed at home. It can be used regardless of the season and is recommended for accenting the interior.
